Abstract

The development of teachers' professional knowledge and skills is influenced by several factors, which require a comprehensive consideration of the selection of applicants for the teaching profession, the opportunities for teacher development in the workplace, and the content and organization of the program. We assessed teachers' professional knowledge and skills using the annual assessment of educational activities "Teacher Assessment; Ineffective". For this, we selected a total of 1096 assessments of teachers of design-technical drawing and technology subjects in grades 6-11. To assess the effectiveness of these teachers' pedagogical activities, we analyzed the academic achievements of students. We found that these achievements were insufficient.
