Abstract

Against the dual backdrop of the digital transformation of the environmental design industry and the interdisciplinary integration of art education, digital twin technology has emerged as a core enabling tool for the intelligent development of environmental design, providing precise and dynamic technical support for the creation of intelligent space. However, the current application of digital twin technology in environmental design is plagued by the disconnection between technology and art, resulting in intelligent space lacking humanistic connotation and aesthetic value. Media art education, as an interdisciplinary educational form integrating digital technology and artistic expression, has become a key link to bridge digital technology and spatial art. This paper adopts the methods of literature research and theoretical analysis to define the core concepts of digital twin technology, media art education and intelligent space, demonstrates the feasibility of the integration of digital twin technology and media art education from multiple dimensions, sorts out the practical foundation of digital twin technology empowering environmental design, and puts forward specific implementation paths for the integration of media art education into the creation of intelligent space. The research aims to build a theoretical and practical bridge for the integrated application of digital twin technology and media art education in environmental design, solve the problem of overemphasizing technology while neglecting aesthetics in the creation of intelligent space, and provide practical reference for the coordinated development of intellectualization and artistry in environmental design, so as to promote the practical application of media art education in the design field.
