With the widespread application of artificial intelligence in image processing, designers need to reevaluate and clarify the supportive role that AI plays in the design process, upholding the designer's creative autonomy. This essay explores the applications and advantages of AI tools for visual prototyping. Theoretical reflections on the issue of designers' creative agency in an AI-assisted context. Drawing on relevant case studies, the design employs artificial intelligence technology as an auxiliary tool to support designers in their creative work through human-machine collaboration. It is clear that the core competitiveness of creative work still lies in human agency and creative ability.
