The Yi people are a nation with a long history among Chinese ethnic minorities, and their historical changes, religious beliefs, customs and folk customs are of great research value. Yi folk songs are a vivid dis-play of their national customs and living customs. According to the subject matter, they can be divided into 8 categories: narrative songs, labor songs, hypnotic songs, custom songs, children's songs, love songs, mountain songs, and doll coaxing songs. Folk song chorus is an important way to inherit and promote Yi folk songs. This article intro-duces the characteristics of Yi folk songs, and moves contemporary multi-voice creation technology to chorus creation and compilation of the new Yi folk song "Newbie Connection", using multiple sounds to enrich the charm of folk songs, in order to let more music lovers un-derstand Yi folk songs and culture.
