Abstract

Against the background of the comprehensive advancement of the construction of courses with ideological-political elements, the *Song Writing* course for music majors in colleges and universities urgently needs to deeply integrate ideological and political elements with professional teaching. Taking the creation of the Long March-themed song *Straw Shoes* as an example, this paper analyzes the integration strategies of red cultural elements in each teaching link, explores the practical path of red-themed song creation teaching and the innovative application methods of courses with ideological-political elements in teaching, aiming to realize the organic unity of professional skill training and ideological and political education, and enhance students' cultural confidence and patriotism.
