Abstract

During the Ming and Qing dynasties, China's handicraft industry developed rap-idly, especially in the fields of textiles, ceramics, papermaking, and pigments. The breakthrough development of handicrafts in the fields of textiles, ceramics, papermaking, pigments, etc. not only promotes the prosperity of the social economy, but also directly affects the innovation of painting materials, thereby giving birth to the diversification and style transformation of artistic creation. This article will explore the specific impact of handicraft industry development on the innovation of painting art materials, analyze the changes in painting art creation and expression forms caused by these innovations, and their historical significance.
