As the economy continues to develop, China's film industry has shown a grow-ing trend. However, in recent years, the film industry has shown signs of slow growth or even stagnation, which is closely linked to the lack of innovation in film content, inadequate market promotion, and issues with the film distribu-tion model. Therefore, this article explores the film distribution model in China. Film distribution, a critical link in the distribution chain, serves as a mediator between producers and distributors. Although it does not directly create value, it plays a crucial role in enhancing the value of films. Innovations and break-throughs in the distribution and screening model can drive the optimization and upgrading of the entire industry chain. By analyzing the current state of China's film industry, this article aims to summarize and explore a distinctive multi-line distribution path that suits China's characteristics, and to propose correspond-ing development strategies and recommendations.
