Abstract

Since the publication of The Moon and Sixpence, it has been doubly popular and readers are delighted with it. There are many translators in China who have translated it, and this paper selects the fragments translated by Yao Jinqing and Liu Yongjun for appreciation, and analyzes their word accuracy, semantic con-sistency, linguistic styles, and translation strategies by comparing and con-trasting them, in the hope of contributing to future translations in a modest way.
