Abstract

The Ujimqin costume, a vital branch of Mongolian costume culture, embodies the unique aesthetic sensibilities and lifestyle of the grassland people. This study systematically analyzes the aesthetic qualities of Ujimqin costumes through their forms, colors, patterns, and craftsmanship, revealing their harmonious, natural, and robust aesthetic style. By integrating historical and cultural contexts, the research explores the nomadic cultural significance embedded in these garments, examining how their patterns, colors, and designs symbolize ecological wisdom, social identity, and spiritual beliefs. Through decoding the symbolic meanings of Ujimqin costumes, the study demonstrates that they are not merely practical items for daily life but also important carriers of ethnic identity and cultural memory. This research aims to deepen the understanding of the aesthetic value of Ujimqin costumes and provide theoretical references for the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
