The Application of Task-based Language Teaching Method in English Reading Teaching

With the advancement of educational reform, the task-based language teaching, as an innovative teaching method, is attracting the attention of more and more educators. It enables students to carry out English reading learning with high quality under the guidance of clear tasks and helps to improve students' reading efficiency. In this paper, we will discuss connotation of the task-based teaching method and its importance, application strategies and limitations in English reading teaching.
