Abstract

Asphalt pavement is widely used in road engineering due to its advantages such as short construction cycles and excellent road performance. However, asphalt is prone to brittleness and hardening during production and service under the com-bined effects of heat, oxygen, and ultraviolet (UV) radiation, leading to degraded pavement performance. To address this, modifiers are commonly incorporated to enhance the anti-aging properties of asphalt.
