Abstract

The lateral vibration of the boring bar in the precision BTA deep-hole boring pro-cess cannot be ignored. This chapter mainly studies a type of vibration situation in which the boring bar has lateral vibration caused by the elastic bending defor-mation of the tool when the tool system rotates and cuts into the workpiece during the boring process. Analyze the BTA deep-hole boring machining system, use the multiple scale method to obtain the amplitude-frequency response equation of the vibration model; use numerical simulation techniques to obtain phase diagrams and amplitude-frequency diagrams to analyze the amplitude-frequency character-istics, and obtain the dynamic behavior of the BTA deep-hole boring system con-sidering the elastic deformation of the tool under the influence of fluid with the change of various parameters, revealing the evolution mechanism of the nonlinear dynamic behavior of the BTA deep-hole machining system with the change of process parameters.
