Engineering ethics plays an increasingly important role in modern society, not only influencing the quality and safety of engineering practices but also relating to social development and human well-being. This paper compares the development of engineering ethics in China and the West, sorts out the similarities and differences between the two, analyzes the differences in engineering ethics concepts, practices, systems, and education, and on this basis, puts forward relevant suggestions for improving engineering ethics practices to promote the further development of engineering ethics on a global scale.
