In the context of rapidly developing and changing technology and society, engineering ethics is becoming increasingly prominent in practice. The continuous emergence of new technologies and the in-depth expansion of engineering practices have made responsibility, innovation and sustainability gradually become important indicators for evaluating engineering projects. Balancing economic benefits, technological innovation and impact on society, environment and human beings has become a new trend of development pursued by the engineering community. The modern perspective of engineering ethics emphasizes the importance of upholding a high sense of responsibility, positive innovation and commitment to sustainability in the pursuit of engineering goals. Based on the three dimensions of responsibility, innovation and sustainability, the modern connotation of engineering ethics is explored in depth, with a view to providing useful ethical guidance and suggestions for the development of engineering practice.
