Abstract

This research investigates the drivers, strategies, and implications of business model innovation within the sharing economy. By analyzing a diverse range of sharing economy businesses, the study identifies key innovation approaches, including platform design, value proposition tailoring, and revenue model diversification. The research examines the effectiveness of these strategies in achieving sustainable growth and competitive advantage, while also considering their social and environmental impact. A comprehensive framework is developed to understand the interplay of various factors influencing business model innovation in this dynamic sector. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the sharing economy's evolving landscape, offering practical insights for businesses seeking to innovate and policymakers aiming to foster sustainable growth in this emerging economic paradigm.
