Abstract

Against the backdrop of accelerating population ageing, Guangdong Province faces the contradiction between rapidly growing demand for elderly care services and insufficient supply capacity. This paper systematically analyses the implementation outcomes and shortcomings of the elderly care security system, medical security system, and elderly care service system, starting from the spatial distribution and structural characteristics of ageing. It explores an optimised pathway for elderly care policies tailored to Guangdong's provincial context, providing decision-making references for promoting high-quality development in elderly care services.
