Abstract

The development of new quality productivity is crucial for advancing China's economic transformation and realizing high-quality development. Based on this, this paper measures the new quality productivity of 30 Chinese provinces from 2011 to 2022, and analyzes its development trends and regional differences. The results show that: first, China's new quality productivity maintains a sound development momentum with great potential; second, there are significant disparities in the development of new quality productivity among provinces, with the eastern region outperforming the central and western regions. In view of this, all provinces in China should further accelerate talent cultivation, promote technological innovation, and strengthen digital infrastructure construction.
