With the steady advancement of the modernization of industrial and supply chains, the capital shortage of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) has become an increasingly prominent issue, which restricts the overall development of supply chains. As an innovative approach to solving this problem in the field of supply chain finance, guarantee financing modes have attracted extensive attention from academia in recent years. Taking guarantee financing modes in supply chain finance as the research object, this paper addresses the shortcomings of existing studies that mostly focus on a single guarantee mode and lack in-depth discussion on the coordination mechanisms of different guarantee subjects. It systematically sorts out relevant domestic and foreign research literatures, focusing on the research results related to two modes: core enterprise-based guarantee financing and third-party guarantee financing. Combining the current research status and existing deficiencies in this field, the paper clarifies the future research directions, aiming to provide references for subsequent theoretical research and practical application in the field of guarantee financing in supply chain finance.
