Abstract

At present, the supply of public goods by governments worldwide is insufficient, and conventional governance approaches fail to effectively address issues such asfinancial risks and institutional fragmentation. As a "conceptual international public good" provided by China, the concept of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind offers new ideas to tackle the predicament of international financial governance. Based on the theory of international public goods, this paper expounds the attributes of the Community with a Shared Future for Mankind as a global public good, analyzes the current predicaments of international financial governance from three aspects: supply equity, value consensus and institutional adaptability, and puts forward three practical paths including a coordinated financing mechanism, a risk prevention and control barrier, and green and inclusive development. It is intended to provide useful insights and enlightenment for optimizing the supply of global public goods and improving international financial governance.
