Empowering New Transformations in Junior High School English Reading Teaching Through the Activity-Based Learning Approach

This paper explores the new transformations in junior high school English reading teaching guided by the Activity-Based Learning Approach, aiming to enhance students' reading abilities, thinking qualities, and cultural awareness through diverse learning activities. The article analyzes the limitations of traditional reading teaching, elaborates on the core principles of the Activity-Based Learning Approach and its application strategies in English reading teaching, and demonstrates its practical effects with specific cases. Research indicates that the Activity-Based Learning Approach can effectively stimulate students' interest in learning, promote deep reading, and provide new ideas and methods for junior high school English reading teaching.
