Vocabulary constitutes the basic elements of language, and vocabulary learning occupies an important position in the process of language learning. In order to solve the shortcomings in vocabulary teaching more effectively, this paper analyses in depth the problems faced by the current high school English vocabulary teaching and puts forward a series of teaching improvement measures accordingly, aiming at enhancing students' vocabulary mastery and practical application ability.
