Abstract

At present, one of the core directions of China's higher education reform is the comprehensive reform of “Three-Way Holistic Education”, which aims to comprehensively improve the ideological and moral quality, scientific and cul-tural quality, as well as physical and mental health quality of college students. This study aims to analyze the connotation of this policy, discuss its background and development trend, and analyze its specific requirements and impact on ideological and political education in colleges and universities. The study will explore the significance of “Three-Way Holistic Education” in improving the quality of ideological and political education from both theoretical and practical dimensions. In the theoretical dimension, “Three-Way Holistic Education” embodies the latest thinking on the relationship between people and the envi-ronment in ideological and political education, and plays an important role in enriching and enriching the theory of the Chinese Marxist view of youth, while deepening the understanding of the concept of “Foster Virtue Through Educa-tion” in the new situation. In the practical dimension, as a practical guideline for the Party's education policy in the new era, the “Three-Way Holistic Edu-cation” provides a practical framework for ideological and political education in the new era, as well as a concrete practical program for the cultivation of so-cialist builders and successors
