Abstract

For English listening and speaking lessons, by rationalizing and refining the design of teaching objectives can learners better master skills, thereby improving their English proficiency at the communicative and practical competences. This paper, from the perspective of Bloom's Taxonomy of Cognitive Objectives, analyzes its application in the design of teaching objectives for English listening and speaking lessons and proposes strategies to align teaching objectives with Bloom’s Taxonomy.
